...and fall adventures are upon us!

Now that Hyatt is growing and learning SO fast, we really focus on making time each day to be outside! The more I learn about Waldorf mentality, the more I see in my own child how his rhythms are still at one with nature and having that movement and that time to explore outside is better than any toy!

He's really fixated on figuring out Grampy's face

this boy has done some traveling in his 10 months... and LOVES when we get the suitcase out!

Grammy Etue bought him a chicken outfit for Halloween! I think he'll be our new egg spokeman!

Our ducks

Hadley loves feeding the chickens with her Daddy

Grant and Lindsey watched Hyatt for the night so Garrett and I could have a date night. These two crack us up when they're together!

My 10 month old BOY

Yes, folks... Hyatt is officially a LITTLE BOY  now. Gone is our baby. At dinner, he makes funny faces at us to make us laugh, he loves feeding Gooseyboy and putting food in his hair. He literally will RUN down the hallway, especially if you're chasing him, loves being naked and giving kisses (he's figured out how to make 'real' kissing sounds), adores being outside and on the 4-wheeler (he will cry 99% of the time when he's taken inside). He's hilarious and into every single thing that isn't locked down. Yesterday, for example, I think he took out my pots and pans (and put them back) 5 times!

Here are his 10 month pictures... weighing in at 21 pounds and 30"!

Braschler wedding and Hadley's First Birthday!

Yes, mama is a slacker! We've been on the go the month of October, traveling to Minnesota in an RV with Grammy and Grampy Spencer, Uncle Grant, Aunt Lindsey, and Hadley, Great-Uncle Stan and Great-Aunt Cindi to see Garrett's cousin Stacey get married and to visit with all of our Minnesota family. What a fun trip!

Our wild man - yes, he's obsessed with steering wheels (and climbing)!

Hyatt is obsessed with kisses and hugs... here he is, attacking his "cousin" Jordan

such a beautiful wedding!

Ms. Mae was QUITE animated opening up her presents (specifically just for clothes)!

We love you so much Hadley Mae! We're so excited to see what you discover and accomplish in the 2nd year of your life!

9 Months!

Nine months old. This always seemed like such a milestone to me - 9 months in the womb, 9 months out of the womb. Hyatt is definitely starting to assert his independence! He's just under 20 pounds and 30 inches, but I'm thinking there's another growth spurt coming as I can't ever feed him enough! This month we've seen Hyatt learning new tricks and behaviors! Not only can he take a few steps at a time unassisted, he's learned how to push trucks (fire trucks specifically) and make his motoring noise (thank you for teaching him this Grammy Peggy), he loves playing mama's piano (which is now in tune), and has learned to dramatically splash at bathtime!

Hyatt still wants to smile at everyone and looks for every person to hold him (although he does have a tendency toward pretty girls). We look at him every day and comment that he has gotten even cuter... and his personality grows and grows with every smile!

Yes, as you can see above... my little baby is turning more mischevious everyday too!

GREAT grandparents and Wolverine wear

Hyatt got to meet his great-grandparents, Don and Helene, for the first time.

His One and Only Great-Grandpa

Sleepy nudy boy

Always such a happy character in the morning!

The bottom lip has gotten a lot of action lately - he sticks it out as often as he can (typically when he's not getting what he wants)!

The first signs of fall on our walk this morning... makes me so happy. Pretty leaves and our Gooseyboy.

Ready to walk!

First Michigan day game. Having fun, as always, with Grammy!

He loves his Grampy so much

Our trip to Mackinac!

The FBI National Academy holds their yearly meetings on Mackinac Island... and Grammy E asked us if we wanted to join her! So, we made the trip up north to the island and we had a WONDERFUL time! The Grand Hotel has such a magic about it... and the hospitality, especially with our little baby, was above and beyond anything we could have expected! Plus, we found that Hyatt is not shy at all to be held and danced with by the Jamaican waiters! :)
