Braschler wedding and Hadley's First Birthday!

Yes, mama is a slacker! We've been on the go the month of October, traveling to Minnesota in an RV with Grammy and Grampy Spencer, Uncle Grant, Aunt Lindsey, and Hadley, Great-Uncle Stan and Great-Aunt Cindi to see Garrett's cousin Stacey get married and to visit with all of our Minnesota family. What a fun trip!

Ms. Mae was QUITE animated opening up her presents (specifically just for clothes)!

We love you so much Hadley Mae! We're so excited to see what you discover and accomplish in the 2nd year of your life!

Happy Father's Day

From the minute Hyatt arrived in this world and lifted his head to look right into his Papa's eyes, I saw Garrett light up. The way these two look at each other warms my heart every single time it happens. Whether it's the first glance at papa in the morning before he goes to work, Hyatt smiles and wiggles over to grab Garrett's beard and flail his legs... or when he's in my wrap and he hears Garrett's voice when he comes home from work, I can just feel Hyatt's energy ramp up. He LOVES his Papa. Being a father comes naturally to Garrett and every day I find a way to love him a little bit more. I tell him this enough, and I know he may get sick of it, but I'm pretty darn lucky. Happy Father's Day to the best papa.

(...and I need to make sure to tell my own father and father-in-law Happy Father's Day too - we love you SO much and thank you for all that you do for us!)

Picture catchup

May has been a busy month already! We started our first canning adventure of the season, pickled asparagus for Pops (my Dad) and Papa (Garrett). There will be many more days like this that we're looking forward to! Hyatt is MOVING... creeping and rolling all over the floor. It's unbelievable how one day he's rolling over one way and the next day he's covering major ground! He's a laughing, happy baby. His chuckle makes everyone smile and he LOVES smiling at strangers... he's a natural flirt.

So, here are a few pictures to update you. We'll be better at keeping pictures on here more regularly!

Hyatt's Grammy (Etue) bought this for him. He obviously loves it! :)

Photo shoot with cousin Hadley. Go Blue!

They're about the same size now... both have big, happy personalities too!

Blue jean babies

We got 3 more pigs!

Allen (and Brianna) got lambs!

Back carries for longer walks... this boy's getting heavy.

We like to let his little bum air out sometimes! Haha

April's showers...

April is here and so are our baby chicks and lots of rain! We are welcoming spring with open arms and Hyatt loves being outside and feeling the sun and wind on his cheeks.

Hyatt and Hadley had another photo shoot this last week after the Hybels bought matching pj's for the cousins... plus, Hyatt got to spend time with his Uncle Q watching basketball!

Hey - Happy Easter!

Ms. Hadley has much more hand-eye coordination and loved grabbing for Hyatt's chubby cheeks... this picture cracked me up!

Mmmm... her hands taste good too!

Mary Jo Creevy bought these outfits for the babies before they were even born... and she guessed correctly on the genders!

Hyatt & Hadley's photo shoot

Hyatt's cousin Hadley is 10 weeks older than him and we wanted to get a few early pictures of them together! I'm sure these two will grow up to be close friends.
Their shirts say Thing 1 and Thing 2 :)

Hyatt's neck was still a little floppy at this point

Hadley Mae

October 14th was a great day for the Spencer family! Grant and Lindsey started off the next generation of Spencers with the birth of their little girl, Hadley Mae. Garrett and I can't stop by the house enough - she's changing so much and is ridiculously cute! On Halloween when we stopped by, her cousin (the one in my belly) wouldn't stop kicking her!
